Russia, Novosibirsk: An-124 Ruslan made an emergency landing, immediately after takeoff. Video

On 13 November 2020, the second engine of An-124 Ruslan, with registration number RA-82042, exploded immediately after takeoff from Novosibirsk, Russia. The explosion damaged the electrical wiring, most of the aircraft's systems failed, including ground communication module. Engine parts fell in an industrial area, damaging at least one warehouse. Having gained an altitude of only 300 meters and with inoperative equipment, the crew was able to turn the plane and make an emergency landing. Durring the landing, the brakes and reverse failed - the plane could not slow down and rolled out of the runway by 200 meters.

There were 14 people on board, no one was hurt.
